Paleo Challenge

60 Day Paleo Challenge

The Paleo way of life is how we, as humans, are genetically programmed to eat.

  • Meats
  • Fruits
  • Veggies
  • Nuts/Seeds

We were not meant to eat genetically engineered processed foods that take up 85% of the grocery stores today.

Avoid:
Dairy
Grains: rice, pasta, breads, oats
Legumes
Anything artificial or processed

Here is a list of foods that you can eat!

Grocery List (these are ALWAYS in stock at my house. these are my basics)

  • chicken
  • ground beef/turkey
  • ahi tuna/salmon/tilapia
  • frozen blueberries (no sugar added on anything frozen)
  • frozen strawberries
  • apples
  • oranges
  • onions
  • tomatoes
  • eggs
  • coconut milk (canned)
  • almond flour
  • coconut flour
  • olive/coconut oil
  • nuts: walnuts/almonds
  • frozen peppers/onions
  • frozen asparagus
  • frozen broccoli
  • sea salt almond butter

- an array of Mrs. Dash, sea salt, and I always keep my spice rack full but the ones I used most are:

  • garlic/onion powder
  • chili powder
  • cinnamon
  • italian seasoning
  • basil
  • oregano
  • maple syrup
  • organic honey
  • flax meal
  • unsweetened coconut flakes
  • unsweetened cocoa powder
  • sumatra coffee
  • garlic

Other things I like to buy but don’t ALWAYS have them in stock at my house:

 

  • spaghetti squash
  • tomato paste: no other ingredients added
  • zucchini
  • canned pumpkin
  • coconut crystals
  • creamed honey
  • bananas
  • sweet potato (maybe 1 -2x a month)
  • Dried seaweed
  • celery ( I love almond butter and celery)
  • Lara Bars (Coconut Cream Pie is my favorite)
  • Coconut Bliss Coconut Ice Cream
